Café Gomb

I have not posted anything recently, because of the light circumstances - we have some dark, cloudy days, or sun, but then other reason occured.
So in order to keep alive this blog I decided to show some pictures of the places I really adore. (And if I can undertake those photos - please do not forget that I am not professional at all!).
First I would like to present you a tiny café in a renewed, gentrified neighborhood of Budapest - one time a real blue-collar area with slummy streets and desperated people. On its main square (Ferenc tér) you can find Gomb Café (means Café Button).
As I had my birthday on the 8th of January, I decided to visit them and make a pleasent afternoon there to chech their home maid cheescake and café con leche. The place looks like a living room af a bohemian girl, you can read books, old magazines, there are toys for kids, also lot of vintage objects ...and many decoration using buttons! The button pattern is also applied on cups and even their bisquits look like it. Such a nice idea!
